Bottle, thanks to Leighton. It pours deep brown, with a small beige head. The nose is filter coffee and some malt vinegar. The taste is big sourness, cherry, caramel, vinegar and just a touch of coffee, with a tangy finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Obviously infected. Tough to rate, as I actually like the sourness and because of it I’m sure it taste is better than initially planned!

Bottle shared at The Kernel during the Thomas Birthday Celebration, London. So, this beer was an interesting one. Taken as a coffee porter, it was infected and pretty not good. Taken as a coffee oud bruin, you know, it really wasn’t that bad and, indeed, rather inventive. Poured lightly cloudy brown with a few bubbles for a head. Dominant filter coffee aroma. Lightly sweet, very sour flavor, with some tangy fruits and modest, toasty coffee. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Tangy, fairly sour finish, mild bitter coffee, light vinegar. Yep, pretty interesting.

Bottled (Beers Of Europe). Deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, mildly bverryish and some slight spicyness. Flavour is wooden, some slight berryish and quite sweet with some mild tart notes. Also a bunch of sour coffee in the finish. In all it’s strangeness I quite liked it, even though it may have a slight infection.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, spices, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and spices, leading to a lightly acidic finish where a note of chili peppers appears.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Dark beer with a slightly red tinge. Tangy dark malt, subtle coffee. Dry finish. Okay beer. Cracking label!
