A gentle maltiness on the nose deceives as a massive hop flavour envelopes the tongue. Lots of organic Perle and Halletauer hops give the correct levels of bitterness, making this delicately hued pilsner true to the German style, as well as enabling it to stand up much better than most lagers to stronger flavours such as mature cheeses, hams and smoked meats, or oily fish.

Bottled. Golden, a bit hazy color, not much head. Fruity, grainy aroma. Malty yeasty, a bit sweet, bitter aftertaste. Quite "English" pilsener.

(Bottle 33 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a small, white head. Fresh, hoppy nose. Medium-bodied with a lightly sweet malt base and a dry, hoppy finish leaving quite some bitterness. A solid German style pilsener, but nothing out of the extraordinary. 240606

A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is dusty hoppy - reminds me a lot of a Czech pilsener. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw, and the mouthfeel is a bit sticky. A very standard pilsener.

Bottle. Clear pale colour. White long lasting head. Slightly grassy aroma. Flavour is a little sweet and malty. Grassy hints too and a slightly bitterness. Pretty good for a british pilsener.

Bottled. Bright yellow. Grassy aroma. Medium sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Grainy and solidly malty with notes of lemon. Medium bitterness. Too sweet to be a pilsener.
