Cask at Roscoe Head, Liverpool. Toasty golden brown. Almost no head. Muted but distinct aroma of Cascadey grapefruit. A bit of grainy malt, almost reminiscent of a Dortmunder. Sweet taste with bitter edges. A bitter finish and aftertaste. A bit of natural carbonation, otherwise weak and unexciting palette. A passable but unremarkable ale.

Cask at the 7 Stars, Rugby, 04/06/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white head that retains well, good lacing ensues. Nose is orange peel, lemon rind, lgiht floral rinse, straw. Taste comprises orchard fruit, green apple, straw, pretty twiggy bitter material and far from the typical GB fayre, quite a shift from the nose. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the finish. So so affair.
