Two pints of keg on a work night time boat trip on the Thames. This is a really good best bitter in the traditional style. Malt and bitter hops really well balanced to give great flavour and mouthfeel. And a really good pint for the venue.

Slightly bitter taste after a cup defeat ;-). Clear copper pour with a small white/tan head. Aromas of malt, citrus, hint of chestnut. Taste adds hops, some herbs for a slightly bitter finish. Easy drinking.

1 litre growler from the brewery. Poured a clear copper colour with a short-lived bubbly white head. The aroma is malt, woody, light floral hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, light buttery toffee, piney, woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Rather amazing for a 3.7% beer. A classic English IPA.

Hand-pulled half-pint in The Nags Head, Shrewsbury on 11th May 2019. Clear and clean golden amber body, thin head of white foam. Decent enough blend without getting my senses excited too greatly. A little more malty sweetness than hop bitterness, but a nice balance overall.
