Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 15/11/13. Hazed golden blonde with a moderate off white covering. Nose is orchard fruit, straw, light bread dough, earthy. Taste pretty much follows, really not a lot else to say, light bready malt and straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry light grassy conclusion. So so indeed, little in the way of hops, had this one down as a bitter.

Golden with a small creamy head. Has a mix of both malts and hots, maybe the former being the dominant of the two.

Cask, handpump at The Green Dragon, Lincoln, Linc’s, 23.09.10 Pours light amber rather than the gold I expected, there is a white head. Taste is bitter but there is a sweatyness, some slightly gone over light fruit, sour banana, its ok but nothing better. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. Brilliant straw colour with a thin white head; I got a honey aroma and assumed this was a honey beer; in the mouth it was full-bodied with again traces of off-sweet honey and rich butterscotch malts; with some light leafy hops towards the end. Very drinkable.

Cask, Swan, Liverpool. Hazy orange colour with a medium white head. Aroma was floral and candyish with citrus hints. Hops and caramel present in the flavour, but a bit on the sweet side. Kind of average but drinkable.
