Gobble is a rich, golden, straw-coloured beer. Floral, crisp, hoppy and nutty with a large smack of hops at the end giving a fantastic taste sensation. It has won Bronze, Silver and Gold Awards in 2016, 2011 and 2010 from both SIBA and CAMRA.

Cask at gbbf 2013. Berry straw aroma. Clear Holden yellow. Small white head. Dull malt flavour.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/7/2013. Deep gold with a slight white head. Easy drinking beer, with some citrus fruits, cereal malts and a pleasantly bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Pours slightly hazy with a moderate, white head. Big punch of hops in the aroma, mostly pine. Beautiful flavor, honey and caramel sweetness, pine, strawberry, melon and grapefruit. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sticky finish, resinous hops, more honey, pine and various fruits. Great, great beer.

Cask (handpump) @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity, moderate to light heavy hoppy, flowers, grapefruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (080808)

Cask at GBBF08. Hazy golden colour. Fruity and cardboardy aroma. The flavour is slightly sweet with sweet flowery hops, some cardboard.

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is hops, nectar, mild apricot and some floweryness. Flavour is wood and mildly nectary notes.

Cask, gravity dispense at Woodford Beer Festival at The Duke, Woodford, Northants, 25-05-07. Warm golden in colour with a nice lingering bitterness at the end, touch sweet maybe but very drinkable.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet hoppy with light notes of fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel and a nice fruityness, as well as light floral hoppy notes, leading to a dry and slightly bitter end.
