23rd April 2010. On tap at the Rake. Clear gold beer. No head. Low carbonation. Dry palate. Fresh fruity grapefruit and a dash of orange. Finishes dry. Standard stuff but itโ€™s okay!

cask - Pours oglden with a small, lingering head. Itโ€™s a nicely balanced brew with mild bitterness, bready malt, and a dry finish. Tasty!

Cask (Guide Dog, Southampton) - Amber in colour. Sulphuric aroma with malt and fruit. Fruity and slightly bitter taste with caramel and spicy malt. I remember it being better than this. Iโ€™ll try to rate it again in future.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strong head. The aroma is well hopped and yeasty, and the flavour is slightly grassy, very well hopped, bitter and roasted. Overall a disappointingly flavoured beer.

Cask at the GBBF 2008. Golden colour. So-and-so grainy aroma, hints of basement and butterscotch. Caramel and some fruitiness in the flavour, fairly bland. Drank it too warm though.

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small head. Aroma is hoppy, fruity and quite grassy. Flavour is grassy, grainy, toffeeish and also has some mild sour wooden notes. Wood and rotten fruits in the rather longlasting bitterish finish.
