A light golden, hoppy beer traditionally brewed using only the finest quality of Stonehenge Spring Water, barley and wheat malts, whole hops and the brewery’s own top-fermenting yeast. This session bitter has a pleasing hop aroma and slight bitterness which develops into a well-rounded bitter finish accompanied by a pleasant maltiness and fruitiness.

Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 5/10/08. Pale golden with a decent white head. Aroma of apricots, straw and floral hops. Flavour had some sweetish malts, floral hops and a bitter, slightly peppery finish. Good.

Cask@GBBF2008. Yellow colour, no head. Aroma is leather, dough and some mild notes of rubber and fruits. Flavour is wood, fruits, more wood and some slight doughy notes.

(Cask at Carpenter’s Arms, Marylebone, London 29 Apr 2007) Golden yellow colour with short white head. Fruity nose with lemon, orange and grassy hops. Fruity taste with lemon, pineapple and balanced notes of citrussy hops. Sweetish. On the thin side. Still, the low abv makes it quite drinkable.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of lemon, leading to a dry end. The body is thin.

Cask@The Rai d’Or, Salisbury. This microbrewery is in Wiltshire near Stonehenge-site and it has a Danish brewmaster. Beer is dark honey golden. Nose is mildly flowery hoppy. Medium-bodied. Fruity, sweetish, notes of apricot. Hints of hops in the finish.
