Bottle on holiday in Lyme Regis. Almost clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Light dry malts, not that sweet. Mild floralness and a touch of spice. Well buried hoppy citrus and citric peel. Light finish. Serviceable bitter.

Cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. Bright amber with a ring of white head; citrus aroma; clean citrusy taste; and a dry finish, with a sharp, strong, but shortlived bitterness. A very good Golden Ale.

Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours clear, bright yellow with a fine, white foam head. Rich straw nose, some toasty white sugars. Medium sweet flavor with white bread, very light hay bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with further mild hay bitterness. Nice.

Amber Ale with bubbly frothed head, not a huge amount of flavour but has some citric fruit tastes.

(Cask at St. Urho’s, 20120908) The beer poured golden and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, fruitiness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, sweetness, grain and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. A clean and pleasantly fruity ale.

Cask @ GBBF 2009. Pours a golden color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty and hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty hoppy finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle from Corks, Bristol. Deep gold with a slight white head. Sweet malt aroma, with some orange fruit and leafy hops. Flavours of biscuit malts, some citrus hops and a decent bitter finish. Good.

Cask (handpump) @ Great British Beer Festival, GBBF 2008, Earls Court, London, England SW5.Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, light to moderate hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. (070808)

Cask@GBBF2008. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is eggy, vegetably and also has some mild earthyness in it. Flavour is spiced wood along with some dark fruits and herbal notes.
