Pours slightly hazy gold with a dense lingering white head. Light aroma with some citrusy hops. Flavor is mildly bitter with bready malt and herbal, slightly citrusy hops. Smooth. Decent quaff.

Cask at Guildford Arms, Edinburgh. Gluten Free. Golden colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of malt, grain. Taste is malty, grainy, tangy, citric with earthy hop bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Cask at Picture House, Stafford. Pours a solid straw colour with a small almost white head and good lacing. Aroma is rsther mundane – just some floral hops. In the mouth it is immediately tangy with lemon zest but also some underlying sweetness and biscuit malts. Overall light and refreshing. After a while there are some hints of grains and spice, and bitterness slowly increases till it’s quite marked in the finish. This is a decent beer – but the strength alone rules it out as an IPA.

Very slightly hazy pale straw coloured with a creamy/frothy white head. Cereal and floral hops on the nose, light bodied and fresh with soft lemony bitterness and floral hops on top of a light cereal malt backbone.

[Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading.] A straw coloured pour with a tight white head; citrus aroma; grassy citrus taste; then a light herbal bitterness. Very tasty.
