Cask, Duke of Cambridge, Islington. This is marginally better than the East Kent offering from the same brewery but not by that much. This at least has more of an aroma, which contained some hop and fruit, and the finish is dryish. Just a rather dreary drink on the whole.

500 ml bottle, at The 78, Glasgow, as Pitfield’s Organic Eco Warrior. ABV is 4.5%. Golden colour. Moderate aroma, some fruity hops. Fruity hops in the flavour too, but not too exciting.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, small, slightly lacing white head; fruity (peaches)-honeyish aroma with some hidden hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, bitter-sweet finish, becoming drier in the aftertaste. Just another Bitter......

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden and very hazy, rather small head. Ligt sourness in the nose (almost like a touch of Lambic - a wee touch...). Very light-bodied.and actually quite watery. A weak, fruity touch of hops, a bit of malt but pretty much no palate. Bottle conditioned with a small sediment. 110705

A clear orange beerwith a huge white head. The aroma is very hoppy: clean and fresh. The flavor is sweet with some weird hop notes, but also notes of caramel and grass, before a dry end sets in.
