500ml bottle. Clear dark golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly grassy, bitter hoppy aroma, slightly grainy background. Taste is grainy, dry, grassy, notes of hay and spelt, hints of minerals and cement.

Smakt rett fra kjøleskapet på Høkeren: frisk og god, en lettdrikkelig og (det lave vitamininnholdet til tross) smakfull formiddagsøl. Kanskje litt enkel, men god.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Mildly biscuity cara-malty aroma with woody and slightly citrus-fruity hops. Moderately bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly biscuity and buttery malt-character with notes of caramel, accompanied by drying fruity and slightly woody hops; quite dry and bitter hoppy finish with a balancing malty sweetness lingering into the aftertaste. Good. 03.II.13

Draught, half a pint. Hazy deep golden color with small frothy white head and soft carbonation. Aroma of spicy hops, biscuit malt and with strong fruity notes. Taste is refreshingly fruity, well ballanced, finished a bit more on the dry side, while aftertaste is long and moderate hoppy. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. My first hooker ever and I won’t forget it :)

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Skewed but clean British hops in the nose. Light body, a very dry fruitiness, some chicory accents and a dry and bitter finish. Nowhere near an APA, this is a straight up hoppy Golden Ale. 290512

50 cl bottle (4,3%) @ Nurmo, BBE 28.03.2013
Aroma has moderate hops, some toffee and fruits. Dry palate. Flavour has some hops, fruits, English toffee, some grain typical to golden ales and hints of hay. An APA with English hops as I expected. Decent.
