Franciscan Well Shandon Stout has a remarkably light style of it’s own….Tall, dark and handsome, a drink that’s deliciously different and an instant hit with indulgent food. With roasted rich flavours, choclately hints and a dry Irish character, it’s a stout that’s truly an attractive alternative.

Caña en Waxy O’Connors zona Picadilly Circus. Londres. 06..11..2015. (r53). Color negro con espuma oscura. Aromas y sabores maltosos bastante tostados con toques ahumados e incluso quemados. Cuerpo ligero fácil de beber con cierta densidad y algo de espuma. Buena. Para repetir.

On tap at the Red Squirrel. Appearance - opaque black with a nice creamy head. It’s a stout. Nose - cream a hint of chocolate but generally a bit elusive. Taste - dried fruits going into cherries. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy texture and a dry finish. Overall - interesting fruity notes. I was expecting their traditional Irish dry stout.
