Clear golden amber. Small off-white head. Persistent lacing. Fine aroma and taste of pale malt, crystal malt, brittle, dried fruit and noble English hops. Moderate bitterness. Appropriately uncarnbonated. From cask at The Dog & Bell, Deptford,, London 18.01.22.

Cask @ Market Porter, Borough SE1. Pours a slighlty hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Hasa fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor with some hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty slighlty bitter caramel finish.

Cask (handpump) @ Market Porter, Borough, London SE1, England.Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, nutty, licorice - caramel licoruce notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. (040808)

Cask at GBBF08. Almost clear copper colour. Nicely malty and nutty flavour, seems also to have enough alcohol to give it at least some mouthfeel. Hint of spicy hops.

Cask@GBBF2008. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is wood and some mild freshly cut grass with some mild caramelly notes. Flavour is caramel, hops and wood. Aftertaste is caramel, wood and mild grass. Wellbalanced.

(Cask at Market Porter, Borough, London, 4 Aug 2008) Dark amber colour with a creamy, beige head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of dried fruit and dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with nuts, chocolate and dusty, earthy hops in a medium bitter finish. Slightly sweet. Well made and decent bitter.

Cloudy amber with tiny off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with carolus and mild hoppy notes. Sweet flavor with caramel and floral hops. Ends bitter.
