(bottle) Clear, greenish golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Strawy pale malty aroma with a touch of sulphur. Slightly sweet and delicately bitter flavour, slim bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy pale malt character with cautious herbal hops in the backyard; slim and quite short malty finish. Boring. 17.VI.15

Bottle from random supermarket in Austria. Badly oxidized, unpleasant sweetish tang fully fills the aroma and flavour. Other than that it is clear pale golden colour with a moderate sized head of a rather short duration.

Flasch’n:(Diky do Švábska!): Clear golden, small and stable white head with a little lace; sweetish grainy-strawy nose accompanied by very delicate hoppy aromas; mild sweetish flavour with only - as expected - a slight bitterness, not soft, but at least light bodied; sweetish-grainy finish, neither bitterness nor hoppiness really present. Not exciting, an austrian Märzen can hardly be compared to a bavarian one…

Rating from 2010: Der Antrunk ist mild-süßlich. Schade! --> 6/6/5/5

Bottle. Poured pale yellow with thick white head. Hay aroma with a tiny bit of skunk. Very thin body, thin malty flavour with a smear of hop. Thin finish. Not memorable.

Bottle, 4.9%. 6 months past BB date. Clear yellow colour, small white head. The flavour is quite bready, probably from age, and a bit sweet.
