Straw colour, crystal clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma - pale malts, lemony hops, lemony light acidity
Taste - pale hay malts, lemon hop, quite fruity, soft cereal ,slight nerbal note, some acidic tartness, better taste than aroma
Palate - soft carb, thin to medium body. Light acidic soft lemon palate. Finish - dry, lemon, some bitter cereal, thirst quenching
Overall - Not bad for Batemans - quite a refreshing session ale

50cl bottle from Tanners, Shrewsbury. Pours cloudy and golden with nice head. The nose is of citrus and cereal. Some earthiness. The taste is more of the same. The palate has medium structure, a creamy texture with a clean finish. Overall, a solid ale.

Hand pulled pint in ’The Park Inn’ Wellington, Shropshire on 4th Aug 2012. Looked a bit insipid to be honest, very pale compared to the bottled version which was a light amber colour to start with. This also came out with a slight haze, so maybe it wasn’t at it’s best and hadn’t been looked after too well! The beer had a white head that produced some good lacing (unlike the bottled one). The nose appears to have got hoppier than I remember the bottled version being too, as was the taste, those malty flavours being pushed towards the back as the hops gained strenght. Enjoyed it, but it seemed a completely different beer to the bottle I had back in 2008.

Weak appearance but flavoursome through a thoroughly hopped character. Good aroma.

Golden color, hazy, with small head. The aroma and flavor show some malt, cereals and cleaning products, indicating some improper cleanings of the lines (or glass).
Unpleasant.

Cask: Pale golden to golden, creamy lacy head, sticking to the glass; light to moderate lemony and "woody" hoppy nose; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour with a light acidity; very light bodied; lingering fruity (sour apples) and hoppy finish. Thin but tasty.....
