Malt, sweet & toffee aroma. Toffee, nutty, raisin & berry tastes with a tangy finish. That's a lovely Cask.

Gravity cask at the Stratford Alehouse, Stratford Upon Alehouse. Golden brown, clear with a smattering of off-white head. Light malty aroma, some orange peel, maybe a little smoke. Complex taste, sweet malt with toffee, a little bit of marmalade and stone fruit, tea, grassy herbs. Bitterness right at the finish. Light body and almost no carbonation. Impressive.

Cask at GBBF 17, day one, 08/08/17. Clear golden with a very well appointed off white head with great retention skills .... a looker of a beer ! Nose is orange peel, straw, light bread, melon. Taste comprises toasted grains, bready malts, orange peel, tangerine. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. More a gold than a bitter for me but a great cask beer none the less.
