Cask at the Guildford Arms. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt, faint hop presence. Taste is light sweet, again faint hops just about balance things out. Basic.

Cask gravity at Six Bells Woodchurch. Clear amber copper colour lasting white head. Some caramel on the aroma. Some caramel and sweetish fruit in the mouth. Not much hop presence but again itโs in good nick and itโs a straight up bitter. Like what your Dad used to drink

Cask at the Claret Free House. It pours clear amber, with a thin foamy white head and soft carbonation. The nose is wood, polish and sweaty sock. The taste is wood, hay, lime, lemon, orange pith, polish, astringency, caramel and brown bread, with a dry finish. A flavorsome and well balanced bitter.
