Hazy pale golden color with a fine white head. Nice lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and fine carbonation level. Better than normal for a cask ale. Ok balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Malty, herbal and mild citric flavor. Nice refreshing cask ale. Very session able.

Tried at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Light golden colour with a white head. Aroma is sharp citrus and light caramel. Taste mid bitter. Medium body.

Sampled @ GBBF Day 2. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, quite buttery, some bitter. Meh, not very good.

Gbbf. Fast klare dunkel goldene Farbe. Geruch karamellig malzig, dezent süß. Geschmack karamellig süß malzig, leicht hopfig.

500ml bottle from the Inn Beer shop, Southport. Pours clear straw gold with a thick white head. Aromas of cooked lemon and that stressed-yeast woody thing. Taste is sweet, woody. Thin finish. Not great.

Bottle from Cheers Liquor Store, Todmorden. Golden ale with a fruity hopped aroma, but also a well balanced character.

Cask (handpump) @ The Old Market Tavern, Alrincham, Cheshire England WA14 4DN... Light amber .. lioght hop nose ... thick white head ...dry hop little creamy ... sweet fruits ...bitter linger.

Cask handpump at the Everyman Bistro, Liverpool 29-11-08. Pours golden with a white creamy slim head. Lovely juicy fruits show, really good citrussy tang, and its a bit zesty to boot. This is a good beer, its fresh, bit dry, but so lovely and tangy and really impressive for the abv. A6 A4 F8 P4 OV15
