Draught at the brewpub. Clear amber, small head. Very restrained fruity caramel aroma with only the slightest hint of grapefruit. Sweet and medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. A bit empty and lacking in flavour. Low bitterness. Does not deliver what I expect from an IPA.

draught at copenhagen. strange ipa, reminded me of something homebrewn. clearly in the easy-drinkable end of the spectre. Not bad - but not a treat either.

From tap at the brewpub, 6.4 alcohol %. Pours slight hazy and orange with a dense white head. Dry hoppy, mild floral note, aroma with a solid malt note. Quite heavy carbonated. Flavour is bitter and caramel malty without becoming sweet as such. Solid bitterness in the finish.

On tap at the brewpub. (as Bryggeriets IPA, 5.5%) Clear, deep golden pour with a medium sized, off-white to beige head. Apricot dominated nose, not much else to offer. It is nice though. There’s some sugary sweetness as well. Fruity flavor, mostly apricot here too. Quite sweet, in a pleasant way. Medium body with a nice level of carbonation. The finish has apricot and pineapple and a nice bitterness. A bit one-dimentional, but nice. (071006)

250ml draught at Apollo, Copenhagen. Slightly unclear, dark amber. Moderate white head, mostly lasting. Quite nice floral aroma. Grapefruit mixed with malt in flavour. Sharp, but abrupt bitter end (02.08.2007).

2008-08-06, draught at Sct. Clemens brewpub, Århus, 5.6% ABV, 6-3-5-2-10=26
Cloudy amber color, small creamy head. It has a light aroma of Pilsner, really? Good mouthfeel, but the flavor is disappointing, dry caramel with a pepper touch. Quite bitter, with a small harshness from the roasted malt. Not an IPA, not a beer that I appreciate.
2006-02-12, draught at the brewpub, as Indian Pale Ale, 6.7% ABV, 7-4-7-4-15=37
Cloudy amber color. Light fruity hops. Structured body, malty, with a very good bitterness, well melted, with a classic hop-caramel touch and at least this one with no Apollo-yeast effect. Good, well brewed.

(On tap) Hazy amber golden with a handsome, creamy, beige head leaving some neat laces in my glass. The aroma is surprisingly neutral for an IPA, only a vague whiff of flowers. Rather thin body - almost a watery impression. Loads of sweet, lightly caramelish malt with a markedly bitter hoppiness dominating the finish. Vague floral notes, but the harsh and brutal Apollo bittering hops won this brew solidly over the aroma hops. 020206
