Brewed for our friends at the 9 Pound Hammer here in Georgetown, this is an exceptionally flavorful medium bodied porter. We use tons of Chocolate, Munich, and Roasted Barley, then blend it with Summit and Chinook hops to create what we like to call Roasted Chocolaty Goodness. Mmm... porter.

355ml can. Pours a translucent dark brown with red hue and a medium, creamy, long lasting, beige head that leaves thick curtains of soapy lace. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, nuts, vanilla and coffee. Sweet flavour of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel and vanilla in a dry, mild bitter coffee finish. Medium body with a thick, creamy, smooth texture and soft carbonation. Very enjoyable.

12 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Jet black pour. Creamy tan head leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is roasted malt with notes of dried tobacco leaves and chocolate. Flavor hints at cocoa powder, anise, black pepper, grapefruit and chicory. Some malty and herbal notes on backend, with a spicy, peppery finish.

A deep dark porter with a thin lacing light mocha head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with dark fruits, light peated notes, pleasant and smooth. In mouth, a nice bitter chocolate with coffee grind, musty character, light mineral notes, very nice. On tap at Venti’s.

Can from Brix Bottle Shop in Kalispell, MT. Pours a dark brown color with ruby highlights and a thick beige head with very good retention. Spotty lacing. Very nutty aroma, like a brown ale. Flavors of dark malts and nuts with a very dark chocolate bitterness in the finish. Medium body with light carbonation. Both the 6.5% ABV and the 40 IBUs are well hidden. Really good brown ale/porter flavor.

Taster at CopenRoss. Dark brown, spme light sneaking through, small filmy beige head. Aroma is roasty and nutty. Taste is where this beer blossoms, full roast malts with nutty a cents, finishing with a nice bitter bite.
