Over ganen følger mørke malte og tørret frugt.
I smagen balanceres sødmen flot af udviklet bitterhed og afsluttes i en vinøs bitterhed.
Øllet er fyldigt og varmende med lang eftersmag.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with a tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with light notes of burn rubber. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of vegetable and brown sugar. Slight brewing flaws. Thanks Maria for the trade.

Bottle. Brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is caramel, hop. Flavour is sweet, hop, apple, alcohol, caramel. Not a typical dubble, but still drinkable.

Bottle. Gushed out of the bottle when popping the cork. Brown, hazy body with an orange tint and a small, beige head. Mostly hoppy aroma, but there’s also a caramel sweetness. Chalky, fizzy and quite sticky mouthfeel with flavors of sweetness, some dried fruits and a good dash of bitterness. Bitter finish with some warming alcohol and dried fruits. Decent beer, not as dubbel-like as I would like it to be, but sure drinkable. (071203)

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Pours a completely opaque and muddy, orangey brown with a beige head. Lightly roasted malt aroma. Quite a rich and full body with plenty of roasted malt accents, some yeast and port notes. Warming alcohol in the finish. Nice all right. 150807

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy deep orange to brown with a lacing head. Slight bitter hoppy and malty aroma. Slight bubblegum and bitter flavour. Minor sweet note, mouldy: yeasty and slight spiced. Strange.

Cloudy brown color with a nice creamy head. A beer based on the caramel, with a yeast that I don’t like, and nothing special. Too simple.
