(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of SoLan. Slightly hazy golden with a tall and very bubbly off-white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma of sweet fruit and yeast. Quite full-bodied with a bubbly mouthfeel from the heavy carbonation. Very sweet fruit and a rather weird but distinct smoky flavour. Subdued bitterness. 190608

Needed a wrench to pull the cork. Once the cork pops the ale explodes and spews volcanically a deep amber into a flute. Had to cap to keep from gushing as it sat. Medium sized head receded to skim surface. Sweet pit fruit from front to back with a lasting alcohol finish. Heavily carbonated, but refreshing palate. Lots of floaties toward the end of the bottle.

Bottle drunk at Chris_o’s HogTownHarry meet up. Golden beer with floaters in suspension. Thick white head. Saisony aroma. NIce nose. Bit sickly cos of alcohol. No burn on aroma. I can quite easily say this is the best Brazilian beer I’ve had. Cool. Bit sweet and sickly on end.

Bright amber with a large but weak head. Yeast, peachy, footy nose is actually not dissimiliar to Saison Dupont. Sweetish and a bit plasticy. Body is really heavy. Strong alcohol signature. Complex, oddball brew with somewhat stodgy malts, funky footy yeast notes and quite a bit of alcohol. Like someone took a mediocre underfermented new world tripel and sexed it up by finishing with champagne yeast.

Very unique and very good. This beer would fit well in to several styles, and is very much like a barleywine. Malty aroma. Very carbonated, which I expected from the description. Flavor has champagne yeast, sugar, surprisingly brown sugar, and light alcohol flavor but a warming alcohol palate. Probably not worth the $25, but unique and very good anyway.
