Bottle picked up from Sedats Schlüggla Getrankemarkt, Schwaig bei Nürnbergas and labelled as St Georgen Bräu A/F, had this Monday 7th July 2025 sat at the top of the garden, we had Slow Baked Tomatoes, Basil and Pasta for tea. Pours gold, white head, not a lot going on here, mildly refreshing but all told a tad disappointing.

As St. Georgen Bräu Alkoholfrei. Clear golden with a foamy head. Cardboard, lemon, NA notes, lardy, liver sausage, cat food. Sour. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, sour finish. Crap and a disgrace that this is labelled as a St Georgen beer.

St. GeorgenBräu Alkoholfrei, hergestellt von Kaiser Bräu, Neuhaus/Peg., Flasche von Fristo, Höchstadt a.d. Aisch. - Goldgelb, klar; regulärer Schaum. - Nase nur annähernd bierähnlich, blaß hellmalzig und mild säuerlich-herb, etwas Hopfenextrakt. - Geschmack sortentypisch dünn und billig säuerlich herb ohne richtige Hopfenaromen, nur krautig und zart holzig. Immerhin schlank und erfrischend. - Keins der besseren Alkoholfreien, eher ein alkoholreduziertes Industriebier. So etwas mit Bierspezialität zu etikettieren ist schon dreist. (23.8.2023.)

(bottle 0,5l as St. Georgen Bräu Alkoholfrei) Overall: Bad, even for NA beer. Aroma: Vegetable, cardboard. Appearance: Clear pale golden. Medium, white head. Taste: Wort, corny, cardboard, light citric. Palate: Light body. Unpleasant finish.

50 cl bottle tagged as St. Georgen Bräu Alkoholfrei. Pours clear pale golden with rocky white head. Aroma is Golden Grahams, porridge, honey. Mouthfeel is somewhat watery, fizzy, medium-bodied. Soft finish, average-lasting, displaying just a hint of bitterness.

Bottle shared outside the brewery on day 2 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours perfectly clear yellow with a foamy white head. Actually, it’s quite nice given that it’s a non-alcohol beer. Lightly sweet, crisp, with pleasant notes of cereal. Not at all cloying. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with more dry, crispy cereal. Under the circumstances, this is exceptional stuff.

(as St. Georgen Bräu Alkoholfrei) Klare goldgelbe Farbe, geringe aber stabile weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr getreidig, süß malzig. Geschmack brotig, süß malzig, wässrig.

Bamberg jolly day 2. 25/01/2014. Bottle shared outside the brewery tap. Pale yellow straw colour with a big frothy head. Aroma is sweet artificial sweetner / aspertame and sweetcorn. Flavour is grainy corn metal and butter. Light papery thin palate. Dreadful.

Day 2 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle shared outside the brewery tap - Buttenheim, as "St Georgen Brau Alkoholfrei" 25/01/14. Pale golden with a moderate white head. Nose is aspartamic, faint sugars, grass. Taste comprises bread dough, pale malts, straw, artificial sweetner. Light body, fine carbonation, dry closure. Not bad for style, not as artificial tasting as many of this ilk.
