Pours pitch black with a small tan head.Nose shows whisky, roasted malt, chocolate, bready malt, booze.Flavours include heavy roasted malt, liquorice, bready and toasty malt, cocoa and whisky.

A stonking big, smooth-as stout. Lots of biscuit, toast, cocoa powder, chocolate, licorice and vanilla. The mouthfeel is velvety, with some strong citrus hops to prevent it from being cloying. The whiskey oak is restrained, but definitely there. I'm really trying to drink this slowly, but not entirely succeeding.
