The dark Glückauf Bock is brewed according to a secret recipe. It is strong as a man, full of character with its sympathetic roast note of dark malt, it runs smoothly and smoothly over the tongue.

Bottle. Dark brown with shades of red and a proper white/beige head. Aroma of malts and dried fruits. Taste of malts, red berries, caramel, dried fruits, hints of chocolate and some herbal hops. Low bitterness. Medium carbonation. Ok.

Second try changed my opinion. Super malty, no hops aroma at all, which i like. Very caramely and plenty of maillard flavours. Soft rounded toastiness and good body. D&S Dresden

Clear amber brown colour, good two finger creamy beige head, good retention and lacing. Aroma sweet roasted malts, dark fruits, caramel, bit chocolate. Taste medium to light heavy sweet, light bitter, mild roasted, fruity, bit watery. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste mild sweetbitter, woody notes and still a bit fruity and light roasty in the finish. Overall a tasty and pleasant medium strong Bock.

*Old rating, best before 28.06.06. Schön fruchtig-dunkler Bock. Intensiv, mild-weich, tolle tiefe caramel-frucht Aromatik.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki (old backlog). Deep red colour with a mediumsized beige foamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, mild sugary notes as well as some rye bread and mild toasted notes. Flavour is being quite similar with some mild ripe fruity notes. Balanced, but a bit thin.

Sehr gut! 11/12/12/12/12/12
