Bottled at PBF. Clear golden, no head. Buttery nose. Sweet with light-medium body. Clean, hard mouthfeel. Some buttery/cellary flavour, but in typical carlsberg manner they fail on he most essential step - you can’t make a pilsener sweet and rock hard!! The lacquer in terms of hops is just surface, and can’t save it from being sterile, dull and highly unrefreshing.

Bottled (PBF, BB 06/2009). Golden color, small steady white head. Light papery and malty aroma. Cardboardish flavor, light hoppyness in the finish. More or less standard premium lager with a bit more hopping. Our bottle was also a bit past its prime.

Bottle:Deep golden, big stable creamy off-white head with a good lace; moderate to solid citrousy-hoppy nose with a delicate toasty-malty background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, quite watery for a beer of 5.7%; short, also thin, bitter-malty finish. Good overture, weak final.........

(66cl bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a big and slightly off-white foamy head. Sweet cara-malty aroma with a touch of biscuits and a distinctive citrus-fruity and slightly herbal hoppy note. Moderately sweet flavour with sourish bitter notes, only light to medium bodied despite its abv of 5.7%, soft mouthfeel. Soft and even a bit slim malty base with notes of bread and traces of biscuits, followed by a moderately dry and slim, subtle fruity and herbal hoppy finish. Likeable brew but not a real gem, lacks body (24.VI.09).
