A tart, clean, low abv monster! Citrus through and through, pushing both taste and smell to new levels. A tart, clean, low abv monster! Citrus through and through, pushing both taste and smell to new levels.

Can from Scopey, thanks Paul! Drunk 12/1/15.
Initially large white head quickly fades to cover atop a mildly hazy lemon-lime colored body with plentiful carbonation.
Tons of citrus in the nose certainly divulges both the lime and yuzu. Strong mineral character, as well as some mustiness and plentiful lactic character.
Very, very dry, salty flavor with tons of lime juice character and lighter yuzu notes. The salt, citrus and lactic acid are all pretty powerful here and there’s a heavy astringency on the palate from extremely sparse, husky and crackery malts. Enjoyable citrus character, but there’s just not enough beer character here to hold things together. High carbonation, no alcohol. I kept it in the fridge, but perhaps it still sat too long?

Draught @ Dubliner, Helsinki. Pours orange with a foamy head. Aroma of tartish citrus, grapefruit, lime, hints of lactic sourness and earthy notes. Taste is tart, sourish and juicy with some fruits, pear, lime, lemon and grapefruit. Finish is tartish and salty with hints of lime and pear. A bit weird. Feels almost like a dry cider with some salt.

Keg at CBC St Giles, 16/10/15. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering that dissipates to Edgework. Nose is pissy citrics, funk, lime jus, perfumed tones, herbal. Taste comprises lemon rind, lime juice, green apple, straw, light wood, sweet and sour, trace of salt, zesty yuzu. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close. Decent ’Linner.
