Draught from Birratrovo, Como
Hazy blond color. The usage of pale malts is appreciated, the mouthfeel is light and bready; the hop job requires some tuning; it’s a bit citrusy, but also earthy in the final, and lightly astringent.

Tap. Rutland Arms, Sheffield. Hazy, pale gold. Voluminous, bright white head. Nose has cereal. Lemon pith. Lemon sherbet. Orangey hop. Taste is crisp bitter. Lightly tangy, with a clean, slightly sour saison thing going on. Fine carbonation. Very easy drinking. Dries out toward the end, with the tanginess remaining. Nice one.

Keg at the White Horse - London. Pours unclear yellow-gold with a tight, creamy white head. The nose has pithy citrus and minerals. Light sweet flavor, quite dry and clean, with more flinty minerals, pithy grapefruit and melon, some straw, pale grains. Light bodied with average carbonation. Faintly resinous on the finish with still more pith and minerality. Good and drinkable gear.
