Bottle: Cloudy, amber coloured, small, but persistent creamy off-white head; distinctive, full fruity nose, mixed with a touch of "oaky" aromatic hops plus yeast and sweet caramel; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; lingering sweet-fruity, also aromatic-hoppy finish. A goody.......

(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Cloudy amber colour with a huge and persistent light-beige foamy head. Sweet caramel- and wheat-malty aroma, slightly dusty and fruity (banana) with moderate spicy phenols (cloves, bubblegum) and a tinge of alcohol when it warms. Sweet flavour with a slightly sugary residual sweetness, full bodied with a mellow mouthfeel. Solid malty, moderately wheaty taste with a restrained fruit-character; sweet and slightly sugary malty finish with a shy whiff of cloves, which I appreciate. The alcohol is almost non-detectable. Quite pleasant Weizenbock (12.02.08).
