Bottle. It pours a clear, copper body under a small, beige head. Malt driven nose with caramel, a touch of raisins, some roasted malt and a hint of fresh fruits. Rather boring, but not offensive. Sweet and malty in the mouth, some fruity hops in the background, yielding a weak mix of pine and citrus. Caramel, roasted malt, some bready notes and dried fruits. Medium body. Ends with a slight bitterness and a roasted, bready flavor with some caramel. Utterly boring but decent. (090210)

Bottled (BB 02/2009). Clear amber color, small white head. Rye bready aroma with caramelly notes. Rye bready, grainy, some caramel malts and light nuttyness. Similar to some Finnish XMas beers. Weak palate.

Bottle that was picked up in Denmark in September 2008 and consumed at home early November 08. This I found to be a very uninspiring beer, poured light amber with white head, was sweet and malty and that is really all I could be bothered to write.

Bottle, 4.9%. Weak sweet and spicy aroma. Nice clear chestnut colour. Almost no head. The flavour starts off nicely with OK maltiness and spiciness. It even tastes as if there is more alcohol than there is. Then the flavour turns a bit more grainy, and the mouthfeel turns out to be slightly thin. Not bad though.
