Huge thanks to quack-duck for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, dark brown, small head. Starts mild, malty, roasty. Light smokey touch. Soft-malty finish, light hints of chocolate. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Mini bottle, Lisbon supermarket. Black, offwhite head. Mild chocolate and roasted malty nose. gentle bitterness, quite roasty and a bit of coffee. Light, watery. Just a hint of metal in the aftertaste. Not so bad.

Bottle. Pours hazy nearly black with stable light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, roast and caramel, with touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty and hops flavour with sweetish notes of caramel malt and yeast. Roasty and estery aftertaste. Reasonable but rather watery.

Fles in restaurant Lissabon. Zwart bier met schuim wat snel wegzakt. Smaak is licht zoet en licht bitter met iets van chocolade. Is wat waterig maar best aardig.

330ml bottle @ Café do Forte whilst admiring Belém Tower in the January sun. Pours dark, voluptuous pale tan head. Aroma is nutty, light grain. Thin-bodied, watery with very light nutty malt, thin espresso roast. Passable schwarzbier.

Dark brown beer, small head. Aroma is a bit oxidated, malt, roasted. Taste is the same, not bad, except the aroma.

Bottle, 0.33, courtesy of Danijel. Clear dark brown color with thin creamy light brown head and sparkling appearance. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and stone fruit. Taste starts light sweet and sour grainy, follows by mild roasted malt, chocolate and mild grassy, mouhfeel is smooth, while finish is light bitter. Light body, creamy texture and lively carbonation in palate. Pretty decent schwarzbier...

33cl Bottle. Almost black colour, beige head. Aroma of roast, tobacco, ash, caramel. Flavour of ash, cigarette buds, carbonated water, some caramel, ashy and earthy finish. Light bodied, fizzy. Not very nice.
