A beer with bright copper hues, a slight, homogeneous hazy appearance and with a moderate cream colored head. It immediately releases scents of honey and a subtle aroma of yellow fruit, and then closes with notes of biscuits and delicate balsamic hints. It strikes with its delicate sweetness and the balance between the notes of honey - which are there, but are not cloying - fruit and flowers, ranging from mature apricots to chamomile blossoms.

Nice slightly fizzy mediumlasting head. Aroma is co2 stinging in the nose, hay, honey, light malts, grass, almond cake, grain, yeast. Taste is kind of sweet and harsh, almond essence, sugar, hay, honey, light malts, grass, weeds. Medium bitterness, harsh mouthfeel, high carbonation. Meh!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch fruchtig süß, Gewürze, Honig, genauso ist auch der Geschmack.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks kerenmk. Cloudy golden. Aroma of yeast, fruitiness and honey. Sweet flavor, yeasty, honey-ish, fruity, with a faint tart hint, a spicy finish and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied. Not my thing.

Flaske 0,75l fra Vinmonopolet, Bestillingsutvalget. Drukket på ølseminar i Tårnrommet 13 Nov 13. Aprikosfarget. Høyt kremaktig skum som etterlater litt lacing. Svak blomsteraroma. Smaken er mandler. Avslutter litt syrlig. Blir i søteste laget.

750ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsø Langnes. Partially gushing. Unclear apricot coloured body, fair, beige head, patchy lacing. Herbal hops and a bit of dough on the nose, as well as hints of alcohol. Flavoured of yeasty fruitiness joined by apricot and honey sweetness. Medium bodied. Quite pleasing, rather sweet, perfect for sharing (shared with Elisabeth, Finn, Stefan and Jan Erik, Tromsø 13.11.2013).

Flaske fra polet: midt i blinken for meg som er så glad i honning! Stor skum og gylden farge, og med en herlig duft av honning,med en liten touch av lavendel, løvetann og blomkarse. En herlig sommerøl for hele året rundt.

Bottle at home. Pours a hazy orange colour with a small off-white head. Sweet aroma of honey, wood, Belgian yeast and some spices. More yeast in the flavour as well along with sweet malt and alcohol. Has a rich and sticky mouth feel, and a light bitterness. The aroma is sweet and the flavour is a little unbalanced in my opinion. Decent though.
