Ispirata alle weizen bavaresi, è prodotta con il 30% di frumento maltato. Si presenta con un bel colore dorato, velato, sormontato da ottima schiuma; il naso è classico rispetto allo stile: frutta matura (banana), chiodi di garofano, ma anche una lieve nota di mela. In bocca la gasatura alleggerisce la dolcezza del cereale, una lievissima acidità contribuisce ad un finale fresco, corretto e bilanciato. Birra non impegnativa, facile, non lunghissima, ma molto beverina e rinfrescante.

Draft @ Fiera della birra di Forli ’14. Dorée-paille sur un léger trouble, col blanc. Arôme offre de suite le caractère ester allemand tirant sur la banane. Houblonné noble allemand arrive en rétro-nasal. Palais garde ici aussi tout le caractère allemand avec une levure intense dans les confins des esters. Malts de caractère surtout au niveau ’wheat malts’ malt de blé, léger côté Pilsner pour un fini légèrement ’bready’.

[10/15/13] Draught at Bir & Fud in Rome. Hazy orange with a white head. Estery aroma with banana and a hint of spiciness. Sweetish wheaty flavor with yeast, fruity esters and mild spiciness. Medium-bodied. Not flavorful enough, but pretty refreshing and easy-drinking.

18/010/2013 Bir&Fud (tap). Dorata, curiosamente limpida, schiuma bianca media, discretamente persistente. Al naso sentori aciduli, leggeri esteri, note agrumate, piuttosto strana come weizen, ma interessante. In bocca è di facile beva, weizen atipica, manca forse un po’ di complessità e struttura. Mi ha lasciato un po’ perplesso.

Bottle in Rome from Domus Birrae. Clear gold beer, tidy white head. Light semi dry palate. Sweetish pale malt with sweet banana underneath. Minerally sting in the tale. Not very weizen like but okay.

Bottled.An unclear golden beer with a medium cream colored head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of fruit especially peaches, and medium notes of malt and yeast. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of citrus, and light notes of malt and peaches, leading to a dry and spicy finish. Huge thanks to yespr for sharing.
