Bottle. It pours a clear, pale golden body under a nice, white head. Very grainy on the nose, but there’s also some hoppy fruityness. Sweet, malty and quite grainy flavor with a pleasant fruityness and some lingering bitterness. Medium to thin mouthfeel with a pleasant level of carbonation. Rather boring, but quite refreshing and quenching. (081112)

(screw cap bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a big and blonde foamy white head. Sweet and a bit cardboard-like malty aroma with a touch of citrus and shy herbal hops in the background. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Almost a bit sugary malty start with notes of wet cardboard and faint herbal notes; sweetish and slightly bitter papery finish with a rather poor hops character. Pretty sweet and unexciting “Pilsener” (06.03.08).

Bottle: Pale golden coloured, thin, but quite stable fluffy white head; aroma: (pale-)malty, a bit citrusy, a bit cardboardy; fruity (citrus) and hoppy flavour; aromatic hoppy finish with citrusy tones in the aftertaste. Not very well balanced: weak malt, strong hops.........

(Bottle 50 cl) Classic pilsener golden with a delicious and creamy head. Lovely hop aroma, but also a distinct bitterness in the finish. Not so much fuss - this is your very typical German quality pilsener. 031101
