Bottle, at Esbjerg Beerfestival. It pours a slightly hazy body, pale golden color, topped by a decent white to off-white head. Too much banana on the nose, a good dash of bubblegum too. Spices and wheat too. Have written cloves in my notes, that doesn’t sound much like a wit, but on the other hand, there’s many similarities with a hefeweizen here. The flavor is pretty much like the aroma, but with more emphasis on the spices. Some bitterness in the dry finish. Medium body, spritzy, with some citrus towards the end. It’s not a bad beer, but I don’t understand it either. You won’t miss this one. 091022

Bottle at EsBF09. Mild citric aroma. Hazy pale yellow colour. Small white head. Weak citric flavour, and weak wheat malt note. Does not even taste like a wit, more like a boring Hefeweizen.

pours a cloudy light yellow looks quite nice actually. small white head. aroma is citrussy, yeasty, very refreshintg, also a little peches as it warmed up. flavor is very acid even for a witbier, but quite refreshing. yeasty. slight sweetness. i can’t figure if it is infected or this sourness is planned. or both. anyway it tasets quite good and very refreshing.

Had this at the Orsted cafe/bar, Kobenhaven 13-09-08 Pours pale yellow with a white head. Wheat is immediately apparent on the nose, wonderfully refreshing beer, despite it not being my favourite style. I like this finishes with a nice streak of lemon, really decent.
