Bottle from Peckhams. Hazy dark orange - reddish colour, off-white head. Aroma of sweet malts, caramel, bit sugary and fruits. Flavour of caramel malts, sugar, citrus. Little toastiness. Sweet finish.

Bottled. Deep orangeish amber colour with mediumsized off-white head that leaves some lace. Aroma is sweet malts, some hops, a bit leathery notes as well as slightly grassy and fruity notes as well. Flavour is leathery, honeyish, sweet malty as well as some mild toffeeish notes and mild spices. Alcohol is rather wellhidden, but gives a slight warming touch.

Bottle. Pours a reddish amber with an off-white head. Aroma is malty with strong notes of wood and also reminds me a bit of scotch. It seems as if you can smell some of the alcohol. Flavor starts malty but a sour citrus taste develops and the dissipates at the end leaving a malty aftertaste. This is definitely different, but I am okay with it.

Pours hazy copper with off white head. The aroma has some punch with it emitting light colored fruit notes, sweet – tart candy, light earthiness and sour yeasty notes. The taste is bright and punchy too with tart candy and modest sourness to go along with a spectrum of berry notes going from sweet to tart. Is this a Scotch Ale meets a Sour? It comes across as interesting but not tasting all that great.

courtesy of ibrew2or3. Pours orange, white head. Aroma and taste, high carbonation, floral hops, malty,c aramel. Roasted malts cover the palate, and the beer has an unusual tartness to it, possibly of the herbal flavor. Mixed with some sweetness with an honey like palate.

Bottle on 12/20/2008 from Once Upon a Vine - South. Slightly hazy amber body with a large frothy off-white head. Somewhat sour aroma, fruity with some caramel and a bit of toffee. Sour flavor, some caramel, fruit, and molassas. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

Pour is a cloudy red with a small tan head. Aroma is fruit vinegar with some sweet malts. Flavor is lots of berry with some dry malts and again the vinegar. Finish leaves a sourness on the tounge. This is just ok nothing great and nothing really bad to say.

16.9 oz bottle-pours a hugh foamy light tan head and cloudy dark amber color. Aroma is woody, medium malt-caramel, herbal. Taste is woody/bark, medium malt-caramel, herbal, some fruit. Finish is toffee, dry, slight hops bite.

Bottle 50cl.Clear medium red amber color with a average, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel , toffee. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a long to average duration. Bitternes is malt - nutty bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
