On cask at the Alexander Graham Bell. Appearance - golden and murky. Nice head. Nose - delicate and slightly malty. Taste - a mixture of green vegetables and malt. Some fresh citrus on the finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly fresh finish. Overall - needs more early hopping. It could be a tad more bitter.

500ml bottle shared at home. Pours hazy, cloudy even, yellow with a thin white head. Biscuit and flowery aromas, honey. Tastes boozier than many beers stronger than this. Light body and thin texture. no noticeable hop bitterness. OK, but a bit boring.

Cask at the Marine Hotel, Stonehaven. it pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is wood, earth, nutmeg, cinnamon and honey. The taste is straw, grain, light bitterness, touch of honey, spice, Chelsea Bun and some astringency with a dry finish. Light-medium body and soft carbonation. A touch watery really... Ok at best.

Aroma: Honey and unripe tropical fruit notes. Subtle hint of sauvignon blanc.
Appearance: Clear golden body with a huge white head that slowly fades. Light carbonation. Nice sticky lacing.
Taste: The fruity flavours are verging on sour. Quite tangy. Noticeable boozy taste for its 6% ABV.
Palate: Medium body with a dry, mouth-puckering mouthfeel. Gentle carbonation fizz.
Overall: Average at best. No uniqueness of flavour. In a word: dull.
