Flaske på sommerferie på Bornholm: et helt gjennomsnittlig øl, men den gjorde sammen med Bornholmer Bitter en god virkning. Heldigvis skulle vi ikke sykle lenger den dagen!

(Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 19 June 2010) Golden amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with apricots, orange and light roasted malt. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of toasty grain, bread, orange, apricots and a gentle, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, balanced sweetness. A decent lager.

Bottle, 5.5%. Dusty aroma, slightly vinous. Hazy dark copper colour. Nice stable white head. The flavour is mildly sweet with a hint of fruit. Quite malty, sweetish dark malt. Distinct bitterness, quite rough, but very clean. Very good mouthfeel.

Bottled. Nice amber colour with small slightly off-white head. Aroma is fruity, a bit earthy and quite big on the malty side (both caramelly and bready). Flavour is being quite much the same in a very nice balance. A bit sweet, but still enormously pleasant.
