Bottle. It’s a clear, slightly pale golden beer with a small, white head. The aroma is dominated by berries, with grassy hops and some pale malts. It’s medium to thin on the palate, semi-sweet. Pleasant carbonation. The flavor is very grassy, low on bitterness. Short, fruity and grassy finish. Well, nothing special going on here, but it slakes the thirst. 101023

Yellow with a small white head. Weak aroma of herbal hops with a hont of fruit. Dryish hoppy flavour with grainy malt and medium bitterness. Had it at a home brew club meeting right after an Urquell. If this was meant to be a style example, it tastes like to many corners cut in the brewing process. Guesses: No decoction mashing, possibly a standard dry lager yeast rather than a Bohemian strain, too warm fermentation, not enough lagering time.

Huge, just off-white head, over clear golden beer. Grassy, hay-like grainsnose, slight caramel. Some hoppy tangerine. Bitterish hoppy flavour, not very bitter however, but quite metallic; greenmalt and unripe grain. Rather crude. Bit fizzy MF, but especially empty palate. Not very enjoyable. Not very Bohemian.

(Bottle 50 cl) Slightly hazy yellow with a creamy, white head. Aroma of malt and flowers. Medium-bodied with a fairly solid and clean malt base. Rather distinct hoppy finish. A decent take on a Bohemian Pils. 121008

Bottled at Ølfestival, Århus, 2008. A golden beer with no head. The aroma is sweet malty, and so is the flavor, though added a note of straw. Boring.
