17th July 2016. Cask pint in The Crown Inn, Oakengates Shropshire. End of the barrel, sadly. Deep amber body with a white fading head. Caramel and toffee in both the nose and taste, dry finish. Ended up flat as a pancake and I had to leave almost half of it because of it’s condition: not good!

I’d need to try this again because the bottle I got up ended up incredibly flat and I’m sure it’s not meant to be like that. It could have been the way it got jiggled in the car driving it home from the beer shop but it’s not like it’s the first time. I HOPE it’s not usually that flat anyway.
