Bottle 500ml BBF Jun 2010 @ Geokkjer
Pours clear deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits, toffee and some oxidization. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a fruity finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle @ Home. Pours amber with a offwhite head Aroma of sweet malt, caramel, plums, spices. Taste is malt, sweet caramel, port, swee fruit and light spices. Medium body, soft carbonation. 170110

batch 091007-10/11 - #531, best before dec. 2009, tasted sep. 2100 clear ambe,r small smooth offwhite/yellow/light brown head. dark malty, dark caramelly, licorice aroma. also some sugar. overall a dry caramelly , also spicy aroma with quite some depth to it. flavor is quite sweet, licorice, sweet licorice, anise, caramel, malts, chocolate, faint peppery spices, beer still going strong and taste great. No signs of infection or stale hops. Have aged very well. ends sweet malty, licorice, sweet caramel, slightly nutty slightly alc. bitterness. Although a bit sweet, this is pretty good.

Bottled@Timo A tasting. Hazy amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is grass, caramel, alcohol and some slight ryebreadyness. Flavour is caramel, alcohol, some fruity hops, vanilla and mild breadyness. Alcohol wreaks havoc in the finish.

(Bottled, BB 12/2009). Thanks Timo A. Dark ruby color, small off-white head. Bready, chocolaty and ryeish aroma. A bit sweet, liquerish palate. Hints of vanilla, toffee and rye bread. Alcohol picks up in the aftertaste.

Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (120508)

Hazy brown with tiny head. Sweet flavor with roasted malt and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with roasted malt, caramel, ripe fruits, spices and toffee. Ends sweet.

50 cL bottle, Christmas edition thanks to faeroeviking. Pours hazy amber with a lacing white head. Aroma is ligjht spiced and slight banana aroma. Flavour is sweet fruity banana with a mild spice note. Finish holds a nice lingering spiced and sweet fruity note.
