Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of roasted malt, caramel and yeast, with fruity notes. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with notes of roast, malt and caramel. Rough and roasty aftertaste. A decent Dunkel.

bottle from Vinoble-favrskov. N.B. My bottle says 5.6% not 4.8%. very very dark red-brown, smooth large beige head. very nice spicy hoppy and sweet malty aroma. faint dusty, faint cookies, super well blendend and quite compex. flavor is sweet malts, smoked roasted note that is a bit strange, the smoked note is almost like burned plastic. A pity - the aroma was fantastic.

Bottled. Amber colour, with mediumsized beige head that leaves quite bigtime lace. Aroma is caramel malts, some slight roasted notes, burnt sugar as well as some mild wooden and coffeeish notes. Flavour is quite much the same in a rather nice balance. A bit thin palate, but otherwise a nice session beer.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of butter and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caraeml and straw, leading to a dry finish with a thin body. Lacks sweetness or something is wrong.

On tap at EBF 08. After the obligatory glass of Mikkeller to get me going this was the first beer of the 2nd day of the fest where I got back on track in terms of rating. Black/dark brown with thin beige head. Tasty dunkel, quite thick, quite intense. Some good dark fruits/blackcurrant. Really tasty. Good first beeer of the day.
