Hand-pulled half-pint at The Pheasant Inn & Brewhouse on 30th April 2024. Sat in the early evening sun on the rear garden patio. Light golden body, white crown. Mild citrus hop lead in the nose and taste, decent malty base, subtle but pleasant enough.

Cask @ The Corn Mill, Llangollen with Eric, Sylvie and Sophie. Pours a clear golden yellow, small white foam atop. Pleasantly hoppy cask golden ale, firm floral bitteress, fresh, light in decent condition. Ok.

Cask at Borough Arms, Crewe. Pours a slightly greenish pale yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Just some vague general citrus in the aroma. Immediate impression in the mouth is light, sweet and fruity. This resolves to summer fruits with floral hops coming through later plus a hint of ginger. Finish is quite bitter. A simple beer, but done very well – I really like it.

Cask at the Corn Exchange (JDW), Leicester. Yellow, almost straw, clear with a bit of white head. Not much of an aroma. Bit of grapefruit rind, lemon juice and grain. Light hoppy taste, lots of grapefruit with soap on the aftertaste. A decent but unexciting hoppy English golden.

Golden color with a small white head. Fruity and some citrus in the aroma. Mild malty and herbal flavor with some notes of citrus. An ok mild english blond ale, especially at 3,8%. Easy drinkable with a soft co2 level.
