Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Light haze on this amber beer, small bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft creamy malts, mild tangy caramel. Spicy hop floralness, bitterish as well. Touch of berry fruits. Light finish. Plenty going on in this mild, but it doesn’t fully gel.

Pours a dark brown colour with a small thin beige head that quickly disappeared. A roasty malty aroma, with some sweet dark fruity plumb present. A light dry roasted malt flavour, medium body, and dry mild ashy finish. Okay.
