Bottle from Beer Garage. Appearance - deep and opaque black. Creamy tan head. Nose - chocolate, caramel and roast. Taste - roasty chocolate, a hint of smoke. And definitely caramel lurking again. Palate - medium bodied, creamy in texture, lightly roasty finish. Overall - yes, good.

Gravity cask at the London Drinker BF 2014. Pours deep brown with a frothy, khaki head. The nose gives off dark bread, light cocoa and dried, dark fruits. Light to medium sweet flavor with torched wood bitterness, baking cocoa, leathery dark fruits and earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; pretty good condition. Moderate sweetness to finish with dynamic dried dark fruit character, some ashy roast, bitter scorched earth, further bittersweet baking cocoa. Fairly tasty, some good depth.

Cask at the Milton Keynes Beer Festival 2013. Poured a dar ruby colour with a rocky tan head. Aroma was marmite saltiness, roast malt and coffee. Slight flavour of cheese with some dried fruit and brown sugar. Finishes with bitter burnt malts, earthy dryness and hints of Oxo... Not sure if all the salty flavours were deliberate.
