Strong and pale with plenty of American hops, in the style of a west coast IPA. The Butts refers to the local quarry and the address of the brewery.

Cask, handpump at the Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks, 27-04-09 Pours gold with a thin white head. Like the Mauldons Cuckoo this also has a touch of the floral about the nose along with some honey. The strength is apparent but there it doesnโ€™t detract from the drinking experience. Plenty of honey, sweet malts, quite tangy but backed up with that sweet twist. This is actually quite bitter at times. A nice beer. A6 A4 F7 P4 Ov14 3.5
