50cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Finnsnes. Pours close to pitch black with a moderate, beige head. Roasty aroma with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and dried, dark fruits. Medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and a balanced bitterness. Smooth, easy to drink - rather tasty and quite enjoy ale.

On tap at Håndverksølfestivalen. 9% ABV. A black beer topped by a finger-thick tan head. Burnt aroma with roasted malts, some burnt down bonfire and a touch of salty licorice. It's full-bodied and lightly warming, softly carbonated and quite dry on the palate, with lots of burnt flavor. Roasted malts and salty licorice blending in. Hints of soy sauce and dark chocolate too. Lasting finish. A quite nice one indeed. 190608
