Refreshing Golden Ale with a wonderful hoppy nose from Cascade hops. Light, fresh and crisp with floral hop notes. A real thirst quencher that’s popular with both lager & ale drinkers.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a small bubbly head. Hoppy, it has sugars in its nose, but is a sessionable ale.

Bottle from Co-op, Chobham. Sharp floral, citrus and grass aroma. Cooked veg too. Bright gold. The bubbly white head soon fades away. Light bitter. Umami, slightly peppery, finish. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Lazy soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. Pretty bland. I guess it does have some spiciness to it which gives it a bit of dimension.

(Cask at Gallows Bird Magna Carta Real Ale Festival 2015) The beer poured pale golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, earth, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice brew but flavours were a bit too thin.
