Keg at the NOLA brewery taproom. Pours clear, deep ruby-gold with a lasting, tight and creamy head. Modest bready notes in the aroma, faint yeast, dried berries. Medium sweet flavour with a little spicy pine, bready and lightly toasted malts, dried berries, faint earth, dough. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with sweet and bready malts, a touch more toast, light yeast notes, some toasty hay, berry fruits, faint pine, ripening citrus. Good and drinkable stuff.
